The 5 Second Rule
I read Mel Robbin's Book, The 5 Second Rule this past week and loved it!
She is a very inspirational woman and I found her very relatable. I do catch myself hesitating and then doubting whether or not I should express my viewpoints. And of course, the endless chatter in my brain could use some focus. I agree when she says it catches on quickly and I can hear her voice in my mind saying 5-4-3-2-1 Blast-Off (like a rocket)!
The book delved into how in reality, it is time to look in the Mirror and realize that it really only takes 5 seconds to change your life.
In her book she discusses how she discovered the 5 second rule and how by using it awakens your prefrontal cortex. She also dives into how one can use it to improve health, increase productivity, end procrastination, stop worrying, build confidence and more!
All by counting backwards 5-4-3-2-1 and taking Action!
And since she is a lawyer, I trust she really did look into the scientific studie ...
